MFT Wednesday Stamp Club

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun sketch challenge from MFT!  Here's a look at the sketch:

I made a card using Pure Innocence Picture Perfect.

The card base is Primitive Cream Card Stock, which is new to the MFT Boutique and you will definitely want to get your hands on some.  I love it!  I stamped this little sweetie with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then colored her with Copic markers.  Since she is quite a bit larger than the Circle STAX Die-namics, I fussy cut her out and used a hobby blade to cut out the inside of the frame.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside of my card and used a sheet of Collectable "Notable" 6x6 paper from My Mind's Eye for the background.

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details about this week's sketch and you can see which designers are playing along as well.

You can find these fabulous items waiting for you in the MFT Boutique -

Friends

Good morning, friends!  I had a very productive weekend in organizing our loft, which is where my craft desk, office, and kids crafts are.  I even put labels on everything.  I might have gone a bit nuts, but I'm looking forward to finding what I need (once I remember where I organized it...) and not digging through boxes and bins and what not.  Yay!  I'm pretty excited.  I'm sure you are too...  haha!

I have another card using the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch, SSSC186, and there is still time link your project to the original post.  Of course, you can play along for as long as you'd like, but the link widget will be gone.

I am trying out the chalkboard technique again, which I adore!  Mostly because it looks messy, and is supposed to look messy, so if you mess up your embossing powder, no one is the wiser.  See?

I stamped the sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings in white pigment ink and then heat embossed some white embossing powder over it.  Then I went back and sponged on more white ink around the sentiment and edges, just random like.   I added 3 Flower Medley Die-namics in Whip Cream and Black Licorice Card Stock and then added some Liquid Pearls in the center.

I added a Heart STAX Die-namics on the inside of my card to compliment the sentiment from You Make My Day, which I stamped in Black Licorice Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope you enjoy your day!  Here's a peek at the products I used for my card, which are available in the MFT Boutique:

MFT June Release Rewind

Hello there!  Did you enjoy seeing all the projects for the MFT June release?  All of the new products are available in the MFT Boutique right now and the design team is having a little June release rewind party again tonight.

I have a couple of cards for you today - my first card uses Pure Innocence Gone Fishin'.

I started by stamping her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then colored her with Copic markers.  I used the new Peek-a-Boo Dots Die-namics for the vertical strip and added some patterned paper underneath.

Along the bottom of the image, I added lots and lots of Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics for some banner yumminess.  The layout is FMS89.

I stamped the rest of the sentiment inside the card in Black Licorice Ink.

Supplies:

My next card is a pretty clean & simple card.  I used LJD Blissful Butterflies stamps and coordinating LJD Blissful Butterflies Die-namics.

I stamped the butterfly in Electric Red Ink on Smooth White Card stock and the popped it up over a Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics banner.  I stamped the sentiment in Berrylicious Ink.

The sun element is made from the Sun Ray Die-namics and then I added 3 Lemon Drop Buttons in the center.

I used another butterfly from the set for the inside of my card and stamped the sentiment in Kraft Ink.
